On top of a small quarry. The Wine shows limestone and a more feminine style of Bonnes Mares. The field is very small. It pours in a light cherry red which is much sweeter and more red fruited than the Clos de la Roche with a touch of oak spice. Smells more gourmand, richer, fuller in the mouth and rounded with a very nice freshness at the core. It has a lovely balance between the generous fruit and the precise vibrant acidity. Bricking garnet in color, nose of meat, dried red fruits and slightly floral aroma. Plenty of hawthorn on palate and some spice too. Tannin is velvet with ever so slightly bite on finish. With the ample acidity and sweetness, this Wine still feel fresh and drinking lovely now with medium finish.
