DOMAINE MEIX FOULOT
Mercurey’ Blanc 2015
DOMAINE MEIX FOULOT
then opens into light butter and lemon. Slight oak, some vanilla. Fresh fruits: lemon, white grape, melon. Overall dry and crisp - best served on the cooler side. Good body to it - decent length and depth. Should be good as an aperitif Wine - but care needed with its food companion: Pairs well with cheese; but less well with sweeter items or acid/pickled

DOMAINE FERNAND ET LAURENT PILLOT
Meursault “Caillerets” Premier Cru 2017
DOMAINE FERNAND ET LAURENT PILLOT
This Wine evolves tenderly after 3 to 4 years of cellar. Its texture and its finely spiced aromas go well with fish, but also with white meats in sauce or with cream.

DOMAINE BITOUZET-PRIEUR
Meursault 2015
DOMAINE BITOUZET-PRIEUR
The 2015 Meursault Les Charmes 1er Cru sports very slight reduction on the nose, but the terroir comes through: fine definition, scents of crushed stone and a little walnut, a subtle marine influence in the background. The palate is well defined with a crisp bead of acidity, saline in the mouth, with a pinch of lemongrass toward the finish. Very fine. There is good Winemaking here, but it needs three or four more years. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting

Domaine Michelot
Meursault Genevrieres 1er Cru 2016
Domaine Michelot
It is more introspective on the nose compared to Les Charmes; however, it shares the same mineralité with subtle flint-like scents emerging with time and complemented by pressed white flowers. The palate is well balanced with fine tension, focused and tensile with just a touch of reduction toward the finish.
