018 Rye Barrel-Aged Red Blend is deep, rich ruby in color and opens with ripe aromas of boysenberry and black cherry fruit, nutmeg, cinnamon, and gingerbread spice, and hints of sweet mesquite smoke, tobacco, and barley malt. Ripe fruit flavors are focused and intense with toasted oak spice. Deep, rich tannins and a hint of smoke round out the Wine with a lingering finish. A fine choice to pair with grilled skirt steak, kobe beef sliders, cured meats, and aged cheeses.
