The nose is reminiscent of Meyer lemons, preserved then diced up later in the year, wet stones and lime blossoms waft in and out as well. The wine builds in body and texture as it sits in your mouth. Layers of Kaffir lime, guava, and pineapple pour in at first, and then the light creamy texture of whipped lemon curd fills in.

Montes , Alpha Chardonnay is a great new world expression of the variety. This Chardonnay is aged sufficiently in new French oak - the oak is present but does not overpower the grape. Aromas of peach and tropical fruits are distinct on the first nose. Digging in reveals surprising complexity of secondary notes. This is a great fruity and complex Chardonnay, with an attractive price to quality ratio.
REGION :Casablanca Valley, Chile
