“Fattoria dei Barbi’s 2017 Rosso di Montalcino is a gorgeous Wine, and also one of the very few 2017s in which the ripeness of the vintage is not especially felt. Translucent and medium in body, with tons of Sangiovese character, Barbi’s 2017 is flat-out delicious. Sweet red cherry, tobacco, cedar, wild flowers, spice and mint all add shades of nuance.
