Domaine Albert Mann

Bright ruby. Juicy red cherry and red berries, complicated by flint and sweet spices. Enters ripe and fruity, then steely in the middle, presenting bright strawberry and raspberry flavors that turn more austere on the long, refined finish. Remarkably elegant, fruity Wine that has sneaky concentration and depth, lifted by citrusy acidity typical of the heavy limestone character of the soil. Made with 20% whole clusters and aged in 20% new oak barriques. The name of the Wine derives in part from an old monastery near the vineyard and from Albert Mann’s wife, named Claire. 13% alcohol.
