CHÂTEAU ORMES DE PEZ
Château Ormes de Pez is an estate in the Saint-Estèphe appellation of the Haut-Médoc. It was formerly classified as a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel, but when this tier was removed in 2011, became a part of the marketing group Les Exceptionnels. Ormes de Pez is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The estate is located in the north of Saint-Estèphe near the village of Pez, where there is a mild maritime climate thanks to the influence of both the Gironde estuary and the Atlantic Ocean.
