CHÂTEAU KIRWAN
Margaux Grand Cru Classé AOC 2016
75CL
Deep crimson with purple rim. Ripe dark fruit and a touch smoky. Firm tannins but there’s so much lovely fruit here it pours over the structure like a fountain. Pure cassis and just fresh enough.

Rich and ripe, a classic Australian Shiraz. Plum, sweet vanilla oak and a hint of pepper on the nose herald the flavours to come on the palate. A beautifully structured wine with layers of complexity of fruit, spice and oak.

CHÂTEAU KIRWAN
Château Kirwan is a producer located in Margaux, the most southern commune in the Médoc. The estate was classified as a Third Growth in the 1855 Classification of Bordeaux wines. Château Kirwan believes in minimally invasive techniques in the wine cellar, calling winemakers "wine helpers" instead. Often described as elegant, silky, and firmly structured, it is considered a classic example of Margaux. In addition to the grand vin, they also make a second wine called Les Charmes de Kirwan.
