CHÂTEAU DUCRU-BEAUCAILLOU
St. Julien 2016
75CL
Super perfumed, attractive violets with a thread of fresh blueberries, cassis, blackberries and dark plums, delivering a very enticing impression. Beautiful ripeness here. The tannins are perfectly ripe and layers meld into each other, carrying deep, graceful and plush, velvety dark fruit long into the vibrant and seductive, chocolate-laced finish.

The Altivo wines have a very distinctive character. They are bold in flavor, lush in texture and have great structure and length. The Altivo "Classic" wines are sourced from the younger blocks on the Estate, with the "Reserva" wines sourced from the mature blocks. Bold flavors. Lush texture. Great structure.

Versace Nero d’Avola 2015
Feudi Del Pisciotto
This is one that is great on its own and with food. A hug for your mouth. Nose is raisins and a slight green pepper. Drinking it had a n earthy quality that’s like eating the ripest beat. Sweet but still rooted. Ripen strawberries are also on the palette.

CHÂTEAU DUCRU-BEAUCAILLOU
Château Ducru-Beaucaillou is the archetypal Saint-Julien Bordeaux. Considered one of the best Chateaus in the Saint-Julien AOC of the Medoc, the wine was granted 2nd growth status in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification. The Grand Cru is powerful, extraordinarily well-integrated yet characteristic ripe flavors typical of both the varietal of Cabernet Sauvignon and the Saint-Julien appellation. We suggest at least ten years of aging for the Grand Vin. For those looking for wine approachable at a younger age, we highly recommend Château Ducru-Beaucaillou's second wine, the Croix de Beaucaillou, which sources grapes from the same vineyard as the Grand Vin.
