Delas Freres
Chateauneuf du pape “Haute Pierre” 2017
Delas Freres
The colour is a deep garnet red. To the nose, the "Haute Pierre" cuvée is characterised by strong spicy aromas, which show a rich, powerful body wrapped around with a more delicate yet tightly knit tannic framework. Rich and unctuous on the palate, the finish reveals some intense, liquorice like flavours.

Domaine Vieille Julienne
Chateauneuf du Pape “Les Trois Sources” 2013
Domaine Vieille Julienne
Rather perfumy up front, with savory, mint and incense notes leading the way for silky cherry and raspberry coulis flavors. The finish is lined with subtle tobacco, warm stone and floral hints, ending with a light balsam twinge. This should put on some weight with age.

Outer quote mark A blast of plum compote leads off here, followed quickly by raspberry and boysenberry pâte de fruit notes, along with ample licorice and fruitcake accents. The sleek finish is carried by a well-embedded graphite element, giving this some latent grip.

Domaine Vieille Julienne
Chateauneuf du Pape Reserve 2015
Domaine Vieille Julienne
Offering incredible spice, violets, roasted meats, black licorice, cassis and incense, this full-bodied beauty is as ethereal and elegant as they come, yet packs huge amounts of intensity, depth, and length in its perfectly balanced personality. Possessing ultra-fine tannin, a layered mid-palate and a great finish, it’s surprisingly already accessible but will cruise for two decades given its balance and purity. I can’t think of another vintage from Jean-Paul that shows this style of elegance and finesse.
