CHÂTEAU KIRWAN
K De Kirwan 2015
75CL
K de Kirwan is the second Wine from château Kirwan, a 3rd Grand Cru Classé. It usually comes from the younger vines of the domain. The grape composition consists of 27% Cabernet Sauvignon, 53% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petit Verdot. Naturally, the same attention is paid to the care of the vineyard and the vinification process. After fermentation, this K de Kirwan receives a maturation of 16 months for 15% new oak barrels (Allier). With a beautiful deep red color, this Wine immediately seduces you with an aroma of ripe black and red fruit such as cherries and berries. A fine wood touch completes this nicely. On the palate it is a lively Wine with a pleasant roundness, some greasiness and in the end a nice spiciness. A wonderful Margaux that is at its best between its third and seventh or eighth year. Pour it at 17 to 18 degrees with ostrich steak, beef, beef tenderloin and all sorts of game and poultry.

Feudi Del Pisciotto
This is one that is great on its own and with food. A hug for your mouth. Nose is raisins and a slight green pepper. Drinking it had a n earthy quality that’s like eating the ripest beat. Sweet but still rooted. Ripen strawberries are also on the palette.

CHÂTEAU KIRWAN
Château Kirwan is a producer located in Margaux, the most southern commune in the Médoc. The estate was classified as a Third Growth in the 1855 Classification of Bordeaux wines. Château Kirwan believes in minimally invasive techniques in the wine cellar, calling winemakers "wine helpers" instead. Often described as elegant, silky, and firmly structured, it is considered a classic example of Margaux. In addition to the grand vin, they also make a second wine called Les Charmes de Kirwan.
