The 2008 vintage for Dom Perignon is an exceptional one. Weather conditions were cool and cloudy through most of the growing season, allowing the grape to ripen slowly. Towards the end of the season, the weather turned warm, with clear blue skies and lots of direct sunlight, ripening the grape to perfection. The result of this dream vintage is a subtle and complex champagne with lots of minerality, yet plenty of fruitiness to be enjoyed, and extremely well-integrated. A must for Dom-lovers.
GRAPE : Pinot Noir, Chardonnay
The Veuve Cliquot Rose is sexy and inviting, not only with its lucious pink color, but also the first fragrance which reveals red forest fruits and envelops into more complex notes of nuts, dried figs and toasted brioche. Best serve chilled at between eight and twelve degrees.
