At once sweet and sharply delineated, with a distinctly high pitch and a light touch to the flavours of dark berries, dusty spices and flowers. Particularly explosive on the back half, finishing with steadily building flavours and firm tannins that reach the front teeth.

Domaine de Bellene was founded by Nicolas Potel in Beaune in Burgundy in 2005. It has plots in nine different Premier Cru vineyard that are spread across the appellations of Beaune, Savigny-Les-Beaune and Vosne-Romanée. The focus is on the cultivation of very old vines, with the domaine's oldest 104-year-old vines located in the Premier Cru climat of Les Greves. Harvest is carried out by hand and vinification is kept as natural as possible.
