Dark ruby red in colour, clear and bright. On the nose aromas of dark berry fruit with supporting hints of chocolate and freshly ground coffee. The palate offers a taste combination of fleshy dense dark plum fruit flavours along side fresher, crunchier red berry fruit and raspberry notes.
A vibrant natural acid backbone and a soft tannin frame ensures a sense of refreshment. Long lengthy finish. Following fermentation, the Wine is placed into a mix of French and American oak barrels for maturation for 10 to 18 months.
