The Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 in typical Woodbridge style comes with an excellent balance of juiciness from plums and blackberries with the aromas of tobacco and tartness from caramel. The wine displays a superior, musculine structure, giving a full-bodied, tannic texture.
REGION :California, USA
GRAPE : Cabernet Sauvignon
Fresh lime and tangerine brightness along with tart, persistent but balanced acidity. Cool climate Willamette Valley produces a refreshing Chardonnay from this tiny production winery. Hints of oak and spice surround youthful pear and apple notes.
REGION :Willamette Valley, USA
GRAPE : Chardonnay
Inky purple. Superripe aromas of cassis, cherry preserves and dark chocolate, with complicating notes of licorice and mint. Densely packed and chewy, offering palate-coating black and blue fruit flavors that show serious depth and building sweetness. A hint of smoked meat comes up on the long, clinging finish, which is framed by broad, pliant tannins.
REGION :Howell Mountain, USA
Red and black currants, violets, lilacs and spice box plus chocolate-covered coffee beans, menthol, tilled soil and cardamom. The palate is full-bodied, concentrated and built like a brick house, with loads of floral sparks and a very long, mineral-laced finish.
REGION :Napa Valley, USA
Château Palmer is a wine estate located in the Margaux appellation of the Médoc. It was ranked as a third growth in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, although for many decades it has been consistently rated as one of the best wines in the region. Unusually for the Médoc, Château Palmer usually has as much Merlot as Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend (along with a small amount of Petit Verdot), which helps give the wine a fleshy and generous structure. It can be drunk young, but will also reward long cellaring. Alter Ego de Palmer was introduced in 1998 as a stylistically different counterpart to the grand vin, rather than a second wine.
