Citra
Pinot Grigio “Terre Chieti” 2018
Citra
The Wine certainly looks pretty in the class - clear as a bell! - and it smell good, too, with nice scents of ripe stone fruit, yellow apple and a light hint of something tropical wafting from the glass. On the palate it's direct and no-nonsense, with generous peach, pear, apple, papaya and lychee flavors that clean up nicely on the lightly mineral and lemon/lime citrus finish. The Wine feels a touch rich in the middle, but stays light and fresh and very easy to drink.

The harvest is slightly delayed, to assure a physiological ripeness of the grapes. They are hand picked in cases and vinified in white (must and skins are immediately separated) after a cold maceration that lasts 36 hours. This procedure, longer than the traditional one, grants a more intense color to the Wine. Fermentation goes on for 8-10 days, while stabilization is carried out in 30 days. The Wine is then filtered and bottled.
