Fruit forward for a burgundy but sufficiently complex and definitely pleasant. Medium to light bodied, nose of red fruit and a hint of mint. Tastes of strawberries, tomato, vanilla, pepper and just a hint of soil and mushroom. Silky smooth finish that was perfectly balanced and had a pleasant lingering effect.

This is a richer mour flavour-full Pinot. Gorgeous aromas of red fruits with a lot of debt and decent underlying minerality. Elegant, complex and very well integrated with the acidity giving the Wine a very precise character.

So much salinity and lemon! This is the lighter sibling of Rollin's Sous Fretile, and tends to run on the slightly fatter side. Interestingly, this made the group call it a new world Chardonnay, though I've never had a new world chard with so much salinity on the palate. It's definitely a touch round, but it's a village Pernand, so lower on the slope. I actually find Le Cloux to drink sooner than the basic village from Rollin, but to have more depth and roundness.

A nice Pinot Noir, medium Ruby with aromas of red fruits, spice and smoky notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with notes of cacao, herbs and smoky oak. Fine tannins, drinks well now.
