The balance comes from the neighbouring village, bussières, from vines on a gentle, southeast-facing slope where the shallow soil is clay and limestone and very stony. the Wine was vinified in barrel with 10% new oak; the fermentations ended in early december, and the Wine's maturation continued for seven months with bâtonnage. it's a bright and chiselled, fresh white burgundy that balances fleshy ripe stone fruit and zippy acidity with gentle minerality and a soft, mouth-filling texture.
